Instructions: Cream butter and shortening add sugar, beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each
addition. Sift flour, baking powder and salt three times. Add alternately with milk to creamed
mixture, saving 3 Tbsp. flour mixture for final mixing. Add vanilla. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 F for 1 hour. Cool; frost or sprinkle with sugar.
