Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 lb brisket
2 tbl Liquid Smoke
1 tsp salt
onion salt, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
----------------- SAUCE ----------------
1/2 tbl brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup water
1 tsp celery salt
3 tbl butter or margarine
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 tbl Liquid Smoke
Instructions:
Instructions: Day 1: Baste brisket with Liquid Smoke and 1 teaspoon salt. Wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight.

Day 2: Sprinkle brisket all over with onion salt and garlic powder.

Re-wrap and bake at 300 degrees for 5 hours. Cool and refrigerate overnight.

Day 3: Slice and cover with sauce. Re-wrap and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Sauce:
Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove and pour over brisket. For a larger brisket, I double this amount of sauce. Excellent for making ahead for picnics or camping.
