2 sm red onions sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 tbl vegetable oil
2 lb swiss chard stems removed, leaves washed and sliced into ribbons
1/2 cup low salt beef broth
Instructions:
Instructions: Prepare the barbecue. Brush the onions with the oil and grill them, turning often, until they are nearly softened and lightly browned - 8 to 15 minutes. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the Swiss chard, onions and the stock. Cook rapidly, stirring frequently, until the chard is wilted and the liquid has evaporated - about 5 minutes. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve at once.
