3/4 cup Butter or Margarine
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar -- packed
1/4 cup Dark Molasses
1 x Egg
1/4 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions:
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugars, molasses and egg. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger; add to the creamed mixture and mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes (2 1/2 inches) Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 - 6 minutes or until set

(do not overbake). Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.
