225 gm Self-raising flour
50 gm Butter
1 pch salt
50 gm Caster sugar
50 gm Sultanas finely chopped, (50 to 75)
1 x Egg, beaten with a little milk
25 gm Finely chopped red and green
Glace cherries
Instructions:
Instructions: 1 Sift the flour and salt in a bowl and rub the butter in to make a fine crumb. Stir in the sugar, fruit and cinnamon. Add the egg and milk and mix to a soft dough.

2 Turn out onto a floured board and dust with flour. Roll out to 1/2" thickness and cut into 8-10 rounds with a pastry cutter. Add some butter to a griddle pan and fry the scones in two batches for five minutes, turning once.
