Instructions: Cream butter and sugar to fluffy. Mix in vanilla, salt and almonds.
Add flour and mix just to blend. Divide in 3 pieces. Form each into thin rectangle and wrap in plastic. Chill. Roll 1 dough between plastic wrap to 1/16 to 1/8 in. Cut in wafers and place on lined sheet. Bake 10 min or until beginning to brown on edges. When cool spread with jelly on one and top. Frost with icing. Email this Recipe:
