Instructions: Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to buttermilk. Add liquids to dry ingredients. Knead lightly. Do not let rise. Roll out dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut into biscuits. May be shaped into rolls as desired. Bake at 400 degrees until done, 10 to 15 minutes. Dough will keep in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks.
