2 cup sugar
1 stk butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
5 x eggs, beaten
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 cup flour
1 can coconut
----------------- ICING ----------------
8 oz cream cheese
1 tbl butter, or more
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream sugar with shortening. Then stir in vanilla. Beat eggs; put in one at a time. Put baking soda and buttermilk together and stir. Add flour and coconut. Pour batter into 2 layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Icing:
Mix until smooth. Frost cake.
