Instructions: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter; add the grated apples, the cabbage, and the onion, and saute for about 5 minutes. Stir the water, vinegar, salt, and pepper into the apple mixture. Pierce the sausages with a fork and place on top
of mixture. Cook, covered, for about 10 minutes, or until cabbage is just cooked and sausages are heated through. Sprinkle the parsley over the top of the warm skillet and cook, covered, for about 2 minutes more. Serve warm, with mustard, if desired. 4 srv. Email this Recipe:
