Instructions: In a medium saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups of apple cider to a boil.
Reduce the cider over high heat until it is reduced to 1/4 cup, about 10-15 minutes. Set aside. In a small saucepan, bring the stock and remaining 1/2 cup cider to a boil. Reduce over medium-high heat until 1/2 cup remains, about 10 minutes. Stir in the reduced cider and cook until the mixture is syrupy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove it from the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside and reheat when ready to serve with roasted duck. Makes 1/2 cup. Email this Recipe:
