2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 x eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup evaporated lowfat milk
3 cup (about 3 medium) baking apples, peeled, finely chopped
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Beat sugar and margarine or butter in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Alternately beat in flour mixture and evaporated milk.

Stir in apples and nuts. Spread batter into a greased 9- by 13 inch baking pan.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
