225 gm Self raising flour
225 gm Butter
225 gm Caster sugar
4 lrg Eggs
----------------- FOR THE CRUMBLE ----------------
170 gm Plain flour
110 gm Butter
55 gm Granulated sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: 1 Light the oven at gas 4/180c/350f. Make the crumble by rubbing the butter into the flour, and then stir in the sugar. Set aside.

2 To make the cake: Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Slowly add the eggs; beat well between each addition.

Stir in the self-raising flour.

3 Put the cake mix into a greased loose bottomed cake tin, pile on the dryish cooked apples then sprinkle the crumble mix over evenly. Bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
