6 oz Sweet short crust pastry
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cup stewed apple
1/2 pt egg custard
----------------- Meringue: ----------------
2 x egg whites
Instructions:
Instructions: 1. Line a tart tin with the short pastry, prick with a fork and bake 350 F oven 15 minutes until set.

2. Mix apple, custard, and cinnamon and pour into the pastry shell.

3. Make a meringue by whisking egg whites and sugar until thick.

4. Pile meringue on top of apple, return to a hot oven to brown slightly.
