Instructions: About 2 hours before serving or early in the day: 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13" by 9" baking pan. Into large bowl, measure first 8 ingredients and 1/2 teaspoon salt. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. fold in oats, walnuts and apple. Spread dough evenly in pan.
2. Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut lengthwise into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 5 pieces. Store bars in tightly covered container. Email this Recipe:
