Instructions: Wash the rice in cold water and drain well. Saute the onion in the margarine
In a medium saucepan until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the rice; cook and stir 1 minute. Add the juice, broth, salt if desired, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat. Cover and simmer until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes. Stir in the apple; cover and let stand 5 minutes. Drain off any excess liquid before serving.
