1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 x eggs beaten
1/2 tbl sour milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
2 cup FLOUR SIFTED
1/4 cup nuts chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream shortening & sugar. Add beaten eggs. Beat well. Mix in milk & vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together & add, mixing throughly. Fold in nuts & apples. Pour into a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour.
