Instructions: Soak tapioca according to box and then drain. Bring water to a boil and add tapioca. Boil until clear and thick, stirring often.
Cut apples into eighths and place in a 8x8" casserole. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Dot with butter. Pour hot tapioca over all. Bake 1/2 hour at 350F or until apples are done. NOTES : It is a non-traditional tapioca recipe, but I really like it. The recipe has been in our family for years. It makes the 30% CFF cut-off, but you can probably cut the butter in half and it would still be ok. We always eat this with milk poured over when its warm (used to be cream, but not anymore!(G)) Email this Recipe:
