Instructions: Cream butter, add sugar. Add eggs, beating after each. Add applesauce, mix well. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients. Add to creamed mixture, beat till smooth. Stir in pecans. Grease muffin tins (or use paper liners) and fill 3/4 full. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in muffin comes out clean. Transfer from pan to wire rack.
Sprinkle muffin tops with powdered sugar. For mini muffins: grease 1 3/4 inch muffin pans. Fill 3/4 full. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. (MS SUSAN M ALLERSMEYER) Email this Recipe:
