Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
500 gm apricots
1 tbl brandy
2 tbl sugar (caster)
1 tsp golden syrup
1/10 tsp cinnamon, ground
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup water
----------------- TOPPING: ----------------
1/2 cup flour, self-raising
100 gm unsalted butter
3 tbl coconut
2 tbl brown sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Split apricots in half, discard stone and place in a buttered pie dish with sugar, treacle, brandy, lemon juice, water, cinnamon.

*TOPPING:
Rub butter into flour until mixture is crumbly, add brown sugar, almonds and coconut. Mix to a crumbly consistency.

Sprinkle mixture evenly over apricots.

Bake about 1/2 hour in a moderate oven (350F/190C) until lightly browned. Cooking time varies with depth of fruit and crumble.

If you like a lot of crumble, double topping ingredients.

Other fruits such as plums, rhubarb or apples may be used.
