Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
5 cup Flour
1/2 cup Butter, softened at room temperature
1 cup Ground almonds
1 cup Icing sugar
4 x Egg yolks
6 tbl Arak, (or Pastis or Ouzo)
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 Cream softened butter well with sugar & yolks.

Add Arak & cream well again. Sift the flour & baking powder into the mixture. Knead into a firm dough. Add nuts & knead again. Form into 3" crescents & place on an UNgreased baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar while still hot.
