Instructions: Preheat electric oven to 325 F. In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter, margarine, and sugar. Add flour and vanilla; mix well. Stir in arare. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 5 dozen cookies.
