Instructions: Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold running water. Place in a large pan of boiling water together with the salt, Saffron, Cardamom, Fennel Seeds, Cloves, Cinnamon and Bay Leaves. Cook, uncovered, for 12 - 14 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Drain and rinse in a sieve with boiling water. Gently stir in the butter until melted. Remove the whole spices, if desired, before serving. Email this Recipe:
