FOR SHRIMP ----------------
1 lb peeled deveined shrimp
1 x garlic clove minced
1 tbl minced fresh ginger
2 tbl soy sauce
4 tsp mirin
2 tsp chile oil
(or 1/4 tspn cayenne)
2 x green onions minced
2 tsp lemon juice
----------------- FOR STIR-FRY ----------------
2 tsp minced fresh ginger
1 x garlic clove minced
2 x baby bok choy coarsely chopped
3 cup napa cabbage in 1/2" strips
1 cup fresh bean sprouts
1 cup julienne fresh shiitake caps
2 tbl peanut oil
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbl soy sauce
2 tbl sake
2 tsp hoisin sauce
Instructions:
Instructions: For Shrimp: Mix all the ingredients together and let marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours. Grill over high heat until cooked through.

For Stir-Fry: In a hot wok or saute pan, saute ginger and garlic in peanut and sesame oils for 1 minute. Add remaining vegetables. Cook until the cabbage is almost completely cooked (3 to 5 minutes). Add soy sauce, sake, and hoisin sauce. Taste for salt and pepper. If more salt is desired, add additional soy sauce.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
