Ingredients:

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sweet sherry
2 tbl honey
3 tbl shredded fresh ginger (use the large holes of a box grater)
2 x scallions white and green parts, trimmed and coarsely chopped
2 x garlic cloves crushed with the flat side of a knife
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the oil, then gradually whisk in the oil. Use immediately, or cover and refrigerate; marinade can be made up to 1 day ahead and stored, covered in the refrigerator (shake or whisk well before using). Serve with any kind of grilled beef, pork or chicken, as well as salmon or shrimp.

Yield: 2 cups
