3 cup diagonally-sliced fresh asparagus
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbl dry white wine
2 x garlic cloves slivered
2 tbl minced red onion
1 tbl lemon juice
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Blanch the asparagus for 3 minutes in a pot of boiling water and drain.

Heat the oil and wine in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and saute for 4 minutes.

Toss the mixture with the asparagus. Sprinkle lemon juice, pepper, and salt to serve.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Serving size: 1/2 cup.
