Ingredients:

1/2 lb ground chuck
1/2 lb ground pork
1 med onion, chopped
2 x eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 tsp dried oregano
4 x strips bacon
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix well first 9 ingredients. Shape into a loaf and place in a shallow baking dish. Arrange the bacon strips on top. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour.

Top with seafood cocktail sauce and bake an additional 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Serves 6.
I vary my meatloaf each time. But here is a basic recipe that I use.

2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
tomatoe sauce to taste
Bread Crumbs or crackers

Mix this all together and add enough bread crumbs for the meatloaf to hold its shape. Cook at 350 f. for one hour til done through.

I add onions, celery and mushrooms and top with cream of mushroom soup.

I use lipton beef and onion soup mix and top with brown gravy.

You can add and top with whatever you think is good.

I season with salt pepper and garlic. Sometimes I add soy sauce, A1 sauce or worcheshire sauce. It really is a wide variety. Just whatever kinds of flavors you like.
