Instructions: Mix enough milk with the flour to form a batter that is not too runny and not too thick. Add the egg, and blend the mixture again. Add the grated potatoes, peas, grated carrot, cabbage, and broccoli to the batter, and blend well with a wooden spoon.
Warm the oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Fry spoonfuls of the vegetable mixture to form patties. Turn when lightly brown. Vegetable patties are cooked through when no liquid is coming out of them any more. Drain on paper after cooking. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
