1 oz butter
2 oz streaky rashers de rinded and chopped
1 lrg onion chopped
4 oz yellow split peas washed
1 lt bacon or chicken stock
black pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt butter and light fry bacon and onion until soft.

Add split peas and stock.

Cover and simmer for ninety minutes or pressure cook at high pressure for eleven minutes.

Blend soup in liquidiser and season to taste.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
