3 qt popcorn, popped
1/2 cup butter/margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp soda
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Coat bottom and sides of roasting pan (I use a cake pan) with nonstick, vegetable spray. Place popcorn in pan. In heavy saucepan, melt butter slowly; stir in sugar, syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes (I set a timer). Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn, mixing well. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool completely.

Break apart.

Makes 3 quarts. Can be doubled.
