1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tbl cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tbl butter, melted
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1 tsp vanilla
----------------- CAMBRIDGE SAUCE ----------------
1/3 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp flour
1/2 tbl cold water
Instructions:
Instructions: Sift first 5 ingredients. Add milk and vanilla; stir to a smooth batter.

Add melted butter and nuts, and blend well into mixture. Pour into greased cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Cambridge Sauce:
Cream butter and sugar together. Make a paste of flour and cold water. Add hot water gradually and cook 5 minutes. Then pour hot mixture over creamed butter and sugar. Stir till smooth. Pour over pudding when ready to serve.

Yield: 1 cup.
