1 can (28 Oz) Pear Halves
1 tbl Cornstarch
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 cup Syrup, Drained From The Pears
2 tbl Butter Or Margarine
2 tbl Lemon Juice
Instructions:
Instructions: Drain pear halves, reserving 1 cup syrup. Combine cornstarch and nutmeg in saucepan, add syrup. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in butter or margarine and lemon juice. Place pear halves, cut side up, in baking dish; fill centers with mincemeat. Pour nutmeg sauce over all. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 . Serve warm
