Instructions: Place 6 of the ripe peach halves in a buttered oven-to-table dish.
Puree remaining peach halves and combine with crumbled ladyfingers, almonds, lemon peel, and extract in a small bowl; mix thoroughly. Mound mixture into centers of peach halves, drizzle with wine, and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 350 degrees, 15 minutes or until peaches are hot and sugar browns on top. Email this Recipe:
