Instructions: Sift SR flour and bicarbonate of soda into bowl, add water and mix to smooth batter.
Peel bananas and cut into three. Roll lightly in flour. Heat oil in large pan or wok, drop bananas pieces into batter, drain off excess. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Remove and drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with ice-cream. You can use apple or pineapple instead of banana. Take care when cooking with hot oil. Email this Recipe:
