Instructions: Cream together margarine and sugar. Add egg yolks and mix well. Add mashed bananas and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda. Add vinegar to milk. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixture to banana mixture. Beat with electric beater at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add nuts. Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold into mixture. Bake in greased and floured 8 x 13-inch pan at 350 degrees for one hour or until done. Cool in pan. Cut bars and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
