1 cup oats 1/2 cup
1 x egg 1
1/4 cup sour cream 3 tablespoons
2 tbl water opt.,1 tablespoon
2 cup sliced ripe banana 1 cup (about 3 medium) - (about 1 large)
2 cup bread flour 1 1/3 cups
1 cup whole-wheat flour 2/3 cup
1 tsp salt 1/2 teaspoon
1 tbl butter or margarine 2 teaspoons
2 tbl honey 1 1/2 tablespoons
1 tbl nonfat dry milk 2 teaspoons
1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon
1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions:
Instructions: Place all ingredients in bread pan, select a light crust setting, and press "start".

After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.

CRUST: LIGHT

NOTES : We wanted to come up with a bread that tasted much like a banana quick bread.....something with a lot of banana flavor. This is what we came up with.

Youll be proud of this bread because its beautifully shaped and luscious tasting. Each slice is moist and bursting with banana flavor.

Be sure and use VERY ripe bananas. This is a very moist dough, more so than most. But if the bread doesnt bake up high enough, next time add the extra water listed as optional in the recipe.
