1/4 cup oil
1 tbl dried onion flakes
1 tsp garlic granules
1 cup tomato ketchup
3/4 cup water
1 tbl cider vinegar
2 tbl worcestershire sauce
1 tbl molasses
2 tsp brown sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Put oil in a saucepan with onion flakes and garlic granules and cook gently for 2-3 minutes to brown lightly - do not allow to burn. Add remaining ingredients, mixing the brown sugar with the mustard to break up lumps before adding to the pan. Bring to a simmer and simmer gently, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and store in a sealed jar in refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Use as a sauce or baste for beef, burgers, sausages and meat loaf, or as directed in recipes. It is excellent for beef or pork ribs.

Yield: 2 cups
