Instructions: Mix first 7 ingredients together well.
Score steak in diamond pattern on both sides. Place in single layer in shallow pan. Pour consomme mixture over meat. Without stirring, pour beer over top. Do not stir. Cover. Marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator. When ready to use, place meat on barbecue over medium-hot grill. Pour marinade into saucepan to heat while meat is cooking. Barbecue meat to desired doneness, about 6 mins per side for rare. To serve, slice thinly against the grain in a sloped direction making slices wider than if sliced straight up and down.
