Ingredients:

meat balls ----------------
2 lb lean ground beef
1 lb bulk pork sausage
1 sm onion finely chopped
1 cup milk
1 x egg lightly beaten
2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tsp salt or less
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp ground allspice or less, to taste
----------------- sauce ----------------
1 tbl vegetable oil
1/4 cup minced onion
1 x 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tbl fresh lemon juice
1 tbl brown sugar
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
Instructions: MEATBALLS: Mix all ingredients for "Meatballs". Form into 1" balls. Cook in a single layer in a 350F oven for about 20-30 minutes or until browned. Remove and drain.

Sauce: Cook onion in oil till tender. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 10 minutes. Place meatballs in a crock pot. Pour sauce over and keep warm.

Can be made a day or so ahead, refrigerated in the crock, and reheated. The sauce doesnt make a lot, just enough to coat the balls.
