Instructions: Place spareribs in roaster. Sprinkle with spice mix or simple salt and pepper. Pour barbecue sauce over spareribs. Cover pan and cook in moderate oven (350 F) 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover, drain, apply more barbecue sauce and roast 20 minutes longer. Serve with scalloped potatoes.
