Instructions: To make rub: Combine salt, dried parsley, pepper and garlic powder in a small bowl until blended.
To make tri-tips: Trim all fat from tri-tips. Spread rub on beef up to 5 hours in advance, or just before cooking. Barbecue over medium-hot coals, turning occasionally, about 35 minutes, or until a meat thermometer reads 135 degrees F for medium rare or 150 degrees for medium.
