1 lb	stew beef cut in 1/2" cubes
1 med	onion chopped
2 x	celery stalks chopped
2 x	carrots diced
3/4 cup	barley
1 x	bay leaf
1 tsp	salt
	Freshly-ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Instructions: Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on LOW in crock pot for 6 to 8 hours stirring occasionally.
