Instructions: Place the beef broth in a saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer, adding the bay leaves and oregano. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion, celery, pepper. garlic, rub, mustard, salt, pepper and cayenne. Cook till brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add the beef broth, mixing well. Allow to come back to a simmer, adding the lemon zest, lemon juice, soy sauce, vinegar, olive oil and sesame oil. As the broth simmers, place a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon for about 6 minutes, cooking it soft not crisp. Add everything from the bacon the broth. Continue to simmer for about 45 minutes or until reduced by 1/4. Adjust the seasoning and use.
