Instructions: * Dried out lightly by exposing on a cookie sheet at room temp for several hours or slightly warmed
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs, then rub lightly 2 hours before smoking, allow to come to room temp. Cook at 225* for 3 hours, use oak and cherry for smoke. At the 3 hour mark flip slabs end for end and upside down. Raise temp of cooker to 250-275* range and then check for doneness every half hour until done. When done coat with sauce and cut and serve. This method will take 4 1/2 to 6 hours to do ribs, but it is worth the time. NOTES : Linda Says: This is a rub I use on my ribs. Its great. It has taken top prize more than once. Email this Recipe:
