1 lb dried kidney beans
1 lb smoked sausage sliced
7 cup water or stock
1 cup barley
2 x garlic cloves peeled, chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Rinse beans, cover with cold water and soak overnight.

Drain off water the next day. Put beans, barley and remaining ingredients into crockpot. Stir. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours. Remove bay leaves. Salt to taste when serving.
