Instructions: I have no recipe as such but I will tell you how I make them: I use
*all* or
*any* legumes in turn, here in Australia we have several types
of beans...including lentils, chickpeas, etc....will not name them as I know the names will not make sense to you in the US..

They come cooked in tins (475grs) or you can cook your own.

I put a tin in a blender
add:
a spoon of tahini paste,
few drops of lemon juice
a bit of mustard
a bit of cumin powder,
1/2 spoon of garlic paste
a bit of dried onions.

Now the
*master* touches:
I add
half of a small fresh raw capsicum (bell pepper in the US?)

1/2 of small (or whole if you prefer) cooked or nuked potato.... Optional....to suit taste on occassions I add 1 spoon of honey.

The last 3 steps came to me with experience and they add a delicious flavor and texture.....

All spices can be added to taste and depending on the flavour of the beans you are using...taste them as you open the can... I alternate lentils, then chickpeas then 2 or 3 type of beans.....
