Instructions: Mix all marinade ingredients in large plastic or stainless steel container. Add roast and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours, turning two or three times.
Remove roast from marinade and cover with bacon strips secured with toothpicks. Place in large baking pan. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for four to five hours or until tender. Remove foil and bake 30 more minutes to brown. Slice and serve with potatoes and vegetables. Top meat slices with red meat sauce. Red meat sauce: Bring first five ingredients to a boil in sauce pan.
