2 lb bear meat cubed
1 cup flour
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbl vegetable oil
1 lb sliced bacon
3 x carrots sliced
2 x onions chopped
3 x potatoes sliced
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp cloves
2 tbl parsley
1 cup dry red wine
2 tbl Dijon mustard
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder, and dredge the bear meat in the mixture. Brown the meat in the oil heated in a skillet.

In a large Dutch oven, layer the ingredients in this order: bacon, vegetables, browned bear cubes. Repeat the layering process. Add bay leaves.

Mix the remaining ingredients in wine. Pour the mixture over the ingredients in the Dutch oven. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Serve over noodles.
