Instructions: A dessert that I saw one time and wanted to try is put together something like this: get fresh or frozen berries (defrost frozen) Mix with some sugar. Dip white bread in the juice of the berries. Line a bowl with the bread. Then put in some berries, some bread, etc. til the bowl is full, ending with juice-soaked bread. Put some foil or waxed paper on top, then place the bowl in the refrigerator, weighted down with a smaller plate on top. ( put something on top of the plate to help weigh it down.) Let it stay in the refrigerator for several hours. Take out, unmold and serve with ice cream or whipped cream. (one time I saw the dessert with just the first and last layer of bread and none in between....just berries, berries, berries.) Yum!
