5 lb Fresh Beef Brisket, trimmed
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup White Vinegar
1 tbl Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 cup Finely Chopped Onion
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oven to 325 degrees.

Rub surface of beef with salt. Place in ungreased rectangular pan, 13X9X2 inches. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over beef.

Cover and bake about 3 hours or until beef is tender. Cut thin diagonal slices across grain at an angle from 2 or 3 sides of the beef. Spoon any reminaing pan juices over sliced beef if desired. Remove bay leaf.
