Recipe for Beef with Blackbean Sauce and Noodles

500 gm rump steak cut into strips
2 tbl sunflower oil
2 x heaped tsp freshly grated ginger
150 gm rnangetout
1 x red pepper seeded cut into slivers
1 tbl dry sherry
200 gm jar of black bean sauce
oriental noodles to serve
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat a wok or deep frying pan.

Meanwhile mix together tbe beef 1 tbsp oil and the ginger stirring to coat.

Once the wok is extremely hot add the beef (in 2 batches if necessary: do not crowd the pan). Stir fry for about 2 minutes then remove to a dish; season with salt and pepper.

Wipe the wok clean witb kitchen paper then reheat it until it is very hot.

Add the remaining oil.

Stir fry the mangetout and red pepper for about 2 minutes then add the sherry.

Return the beef (with a slotted spoon) to the pan witb tbe black bean sauce.

Toss everything together to heat through which should take about 12 minutes.

Cook the noodles according to the packet drain and season according to taste with a dash or two of sesame oil.Serve with the beef.

Remember to reheat the wok or pan until very hot after frying the beef and before adding the vegetables.
